Travel designed by teachers, built for students.

Explore the World with Us

Of The World began with the simple idea that travel can influence the way young people view the world and themselves. Although we're a new company, our foundation is built on many years' of experience education and student-centered travel. Our approach developed out of a passion for designing meaningful experiences that combine learning, cultural connection, and adventure.

The story started in classrooms all over the world, when Jordan Weltman, the founder and Chief of Global Adventures, spent years working with students and seeing the firsthand the impact of experiences beyond the school walls. Before becoming a teacher, Jordan had worked in student travel programs in the United States, helping young people discover new places and cultures. Throughout his career in international education, Jordan kept coming back to the part of travel he had always loved most: giving students the chance to experience the world on their own.

While teaching at international schools, he started to arrange trips which combined his enthusiasm for education with his love of travel. He wanted students to do more than simply visit a destination. He wanted them to meet people, experience different cultures, take on new challenges, and see the world from a perspective they couldn't get from a classroom.

The excitement, growth and friendships that he saw on those trips laid the foundation for Of The World. What started as an extension of his work in education grew into a bigger vision: creating these kinds of experiences for students beyond the schools where he taught.

We are building OTW on the same idea. The trips we offer are intended to be small, personal and immersive—combining adventure with genuine cultural experiences and opportunities to learn along the way. We don't just want students to have plenty of photographs and souvenirs when they get home; we want them to return with new perspectives, increased confidence, long-lasting friendships, and a better understanding of what it means to be Of The World.

Our Story
Our Experience

Before starting Of the World Travel, our team worked in international schools across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa — including in Budapest, Istanbul, Frankfurt, Dubai, Douala, Vilnius, and Bonn. While teaching, we organized and led numerous trips that combined adventure, learning, and cultural exchange. From exploring ancient cities to designing a STEM-focused journey around the 2024 solar eclipse, each program was built to spark curiosity and connection.

Our Approach

We keep our groups small—about 16 students with 2 leaders—so that friendships, cultural exchange, and personal growth can flourish. Our trips are built on authenticity: students meet locals, hear their stories, join traditions, share meals, and sometimes even contribute to community projects.

Travel with us is about more than just memories. Students gain confidence, friendships, and a sense of global citizenship. They return home with a deeper understanding that while they may be French, Spanish, Polish or any other nationality, they are also citizens of the world—ready to challenge stereotypes, celebrate diversity, and appreciate how every culture shapes our shared future.
